Soccer Info: Updated

The season is nearly upon us, and registration is now open!  We will be doing things a little differently this year than we have in the past.

Save time this year by registering online!  You can fill out the form online and either mail in your payment or drop it off during open registration hours. Online registration will stay open until August 15th. A $30 late charge will be assessed after that, and there will be no guarantee for a jersey.

Checks can be mailed to:

Tolono, IL 61880

The Kindergarten program will consist of basic drills and scrimmaging as it has the past few years.  Kindergarten soccer will be on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00 at West Side Park.  It will run for 6 weeks and start on September 12.

For 1st-8th grade soccer we will be holding skills evaluations for each group level (dates below) so that we can even out the teams.  The kids will run through a couple of drills and scrimmage so we can get a better idea of their skills before we decide on teams.  Due to this new change we will not be taking requests for kids to be placed with a specific coach, and we are going to limit the number of head coaches to 2 per team.   Once teams are decided coaches can ask parents to help if they choose to.  Games will start on September 8. The ultimate goal is to make it more enjoyable for the kids, and we believe this is the most fair way to do it.

Looking forward to another great season!  If you have questions feel free to contact me.
